New sea-view rooms at Bojang River Lodge await

A home away from home. Located in Cape Point on the mouth of the River Gambia, Bojang River Lodge is truly a sight to behold. Five circular buildings in flamboyant colours stand proudly amidst well-manicured gardens against a backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. Peaceful and serene, this is the perfect place to escape the daily hustle and bustle - be it tourists or residents.

Next to 6 standard rooms with double beds and 2 two-bedroom self-catering apartments with double beds, all located on the ground floor, Bojang River Lodge now introduces 3 superior rooms and 2 one-bedroom self-catering suites, all with double or two single beds—a new addition on the first floor with a brilliant sea view!

All five rounded units have winding staircases, and the new first-floor rooms have glass-railed balconies. Perfect for enjoying the views while having your meal or hot beverage.

Bojang River Lodge also boasts two heart-shaped swimming pools - the only pools in the Gambia with this unique shape. The pool is open for non-guests from 11 am. Charges for adults and kids are GMD 300 and GMD 150, respectively. The pools are available for private pool parties. The Love Island Pool Bar, as the name denotes, is in the centre of the pool and is open for snacks and drinks..

Other features of Bojang River Lodge include-

  • Dining areas under bantabas allow you to enjoy your meals in the fresh air.
  • Playpen, chairs and slides for toddlers and kids.
  • Entertainment area for bands.
  • A private path to the beach.
  • Wheelchair access for ground floor rooms.
  • Front porches for guests to soak up some sunlight and fresh air.
  • Cleaning service.
  • Massage (on request).
  • Hot water.

The gardens and bantabas are available for weddings and other events.

The restaurant is expected to be operational by the end of 2023, and there are plans for a spa and a mini-market on the premises.

Bojang River Lodge is in close vicinity to many restaurants, the craft market, the bureau de change, tourist taxis, beach bars, mini markets and souvenir shops.
