Our world is in a phase of upheaval. The changes affect all areas of our lives. Economic, political and social structures are breaking down. We slip from one crisis into the next. But real change begins within ourselves. Every individual can work on themselves. Just by changing ourselves, we contribute to the global change of consciousness on our planet. "Be yourself and see the change you wish to see in this world" were Mahatma Gandhi's words. Go courageously your path of life because the easy way always leads into chaos. Especially in the Western world, there is unfortunately a lot of coldness among people. We no longer dare to show cordiality because we are afraid of being hurt. But that is exactly what has alienated us and makes us vulnerable.
We at IN∙US accompany people in a supportive way to go their own way again, to find their inner self and to discover completely new potentials in themselves outside their comfort zone. Our investor trips here in the Gambia are becoming more and more popular. They are a very special adventure, unique trips with unexpected experiences.
The groups we welcome here are always very diverse. Different characters, different nations, different starting points and objectives. It never ceases to amaze us how great these groups grow together and how inspiring the resulting community is. They learn with us that the secret of happiness is freedom, and the secret of freedom is courage. This is how people live it here in the Gambia. They don’t waste many thoughts on security. They find their personal security within themselves. They are not used to outside security systems as we know them in Europe.
So courage is at the beginning of our actions and at the end we find our happiness. We must learn that each individual can do much more than we give ourselves credit for. If we join forces, we can take advantage of the current chaos and create a new, inspiring order. In our community, we are working energetically to develop and implement socially, ecologically and financially sustainable projects here in the Gambia, in line with our IN∙US quality standard. Thus, we not only work for ourselves, but also give something back to the country and the population with our work. We offer our guests an opportunity to participate in our projects, either with their knowhow or passions or with financial means. The feedback we get is great. We feel a deep longing for peace and feeling at home. Many participants feel the need for love and their own truth. Realizing dreams instead of looking at images of violence every day - it's time to let go of the old so that something new can emerge. New ideas and concepts are needed that focus on people and their emotions. Those who look inside and know what they want, will find their way. The time has come to use our own abilities and talents so that everyone can shape their lives in the way that is right for them. The sooner we understand this, the sooner the changes we want can come.
We may courageously begin to unleash our potentials. Suitable solutions for individual and global problems will be found automatically. If we dare to move outside our comfort zone, go on an adventure and try new possibilities, we will get a special, new and above all happy attitude towards life. In the Gambia, we experience great opportunities to do this every day. Confucius said long ago "Wherever you go, go with all your heart."
My heart has led me and my family to the Gambia. Here we can live our passion and realize ourselves with IN∙US. Where will your heart lead you to? Are you ready to boldly take new steps into your own freedom? We would like to invite you to join us on our next adventure trip here in the Gambia.
The sacred crocodile pond of Kachikally and the whole place around it is known by the locals in the Gambia for its healing powers. Many people pray there for their blessings. Washing oneself with the holy water is said to make personal wishes come true. Occasionally, sacred rituals are still held here, often accompanied by dancing and drumming. The Kachikally Crocodile Pool south of the old town of Bakau is an approximately 9-acre site consisting of an ethnographic museum, a miniature nature trail through a wooded area and the pond containing over 100 crocodiles. The animals are not particularly large, most are less than two meters long. The West African crocodiles or desert crocodiles (crocodylus suchus) have been used to having people around them for a long time. Non-breeding animals are therefore known for their gentleness. There is an oral legend about the origin of this particular place. A child who fell into the well of this place was saved by a pair of brothers. In gratitude for their action in the rescue, they were given the rule of the well with magical powers, around which the crocodile pond was created. In return, the brothers gave away two crocodiles, which since then lived in the water there.
On our IN∙US investor trips, the Kachikally Crocodile Park is always a fixed part of our programme. We can see there how humans and animals live in harmony with each other. There you can courageously leave your comfort zone and experience your personal moment of happiness.
