Symbolic date for My Senegal

My Magazine 2022/10

World tourism day, 27th September 2022, was exceptional for the My Gambia team. Those who have been following us from the beginning know that we plan to expand the idea of My Gambia to other countries, starting with neighbouring countries. My Senegal is undoubtedly our first choice for many reasons. Firstly, it is the only country that we border. It is enormous and yet to be explored. It is very similar to The Gambia when it comes to tradition, culture, religion, music, tribes, language, etc. And it offers a wide choice of attractions, dining options, accommodation places, and other tourist services.

Therefore, we headed to Dakar to meet the team from ASPT, Agence Sénégalaise de Promotion Touristique (Senegalese Tourism Promotion Agency on the date that marks World Tourism Day. What a symbolic day!

We were extremely well received. Our plans and ideas were warmly welcomed, and we decided to expand to Senegal earlier than initially planned.

You can follow My Senegal Facebook page and Instagram for more information. And don't forget to subscribe to our monthly online magazine. It costs nothing.
