The new British International School welcomed its first set of students on 15th September 2022.

As the first Council of British International Schools (COBIS) Candidate School in The Gambia, BISG joins 251 other British International Schools in 76 countries to provide high quality international educations for its students.

The school community is based on their core values of Pride, Unity, and Respect, and believe passionately in providing a safe, inspiring, and enriching environment that enables everyone to flourish. They pride themselves in placing learning at the heart of all they do, and in helping all members of their community to embrace learning and make the most of every day.

In their state-of-the-art campus located in Kotu, you can expect to find a school that lives up to its mission of nurturing each unique member of its community to become a lifelong learner and global citizen to achieve their greatest potential in a caring and supportive academic environment.

BISG has a diverse multicultural international community of 90 students of 14 different nationalities and highly qualified staff from 6 different countries.

Places are almost full for this current academic year but, admission is open for September 2023.
