It was built 20 years ago by the British constructor. He and his two friends kept the lodge with love for 15 years. When they got too old to maintain the guesthouse, they sold it 5 years ago to two European ladies, one real estate investor and another hospitality professional. During the last 5 years, the ladies have renovated the lodge completely and made it one of the most successful guesthouses in The Gambia.
The lodge is almost always fully booked. It’s very popular among the customers who seek quality. Also, many expats working for the UN, embassies and doctors coming for the missions in The Gambia are long-term residents.
The business is solid, and there are many opportunities. The new owner can make it a place of their dreams.
