On Saturday, June 4th, the Brunch& team raised the bar even higher with Brunch & Amazin’ Race 2.0. The theme for this Amazin’ Race’s was Money Heist, a popular Spanish crime series where a group of eight thieves rob a bank. Teams raced against time & completed challenges for ‘money.’

Amazin’ Race 2.0 was hosted at Paradise Beach Club located along the beautiful sandy beaches of Kotu. The first-of-its-kind beach club offered Amazin’ Race participants a unique beach-front experience combining luxury, comfort, Afro bohemian aesthetics, delicious food, cocktails and excellent service.

Both social and corporate teams, set off to complete exciting tasks ranging from a quest for flags, and endurance activities, to trivia questions and photo challenges. The scavenger hunt led teams through notable areas within the Fajara community, including Paradise Beach Club, The Fajara Club and Flex Fitness Gym.

Sunday’s Brunch at the renowned Plass-Bi Restaurant was an exquisite culinary journey, featuring Asian, Mediterranean & Senegambian delicacies. The launch of the new signature ‘Brunch&’ Cocktail, was met with great enthusiasm.

In the spirit of #GambianExcellence guests also enjoyed special performances by the incredibly talented Barhama Cham & kora sensation Sura Susso.

Following the distribution of prizes, DJ Pizzle got the day party started to the excitement of the crowd.

“The first Amazin Race was great but this one was even better! I didn’t know my team mates prior to this event, but the experience really made me feel like I’ve known them for a long time” expressed Jabou Njie, a content Brunch & attendee. 

Brunch & events are designed to build a community of professionals, encourage networking & collaboration, and create opportunities for personal development. Amazin’ Race has proven to be an effective way for individuals to work together, build relations and bond over teamwork and problem-solving.

The effort dedicated to executing both events to the standards of the organizers and guests was very evident. The Brunch & team is delighted for yet another successful weekend and looks forward to planning the next one.
