Today, we celebrate teachers across The Gambia, from nursery and primary school classrooms to secondary schools, colleges and universities.
Teaching for us is much more than delivering lessons. A good teacher can inspire a new interest, discover a talent, encourage a struggling student or simply be the person who believes in a child at an important moment in their life.
