This partnership will allow Gambians to conveniently pay for government services through APS Wallet using the instant GovPay feature. It marks a major step toward improving transparency, convenience and efficiency in government revenue collection.

The ceremony was attended by the Accountant General, Ms. Agnes Macaulay, alongside her deputy and staff, as well as the General Manager of APS Wallet, Mr. Malick S. Jallow, and members of the APS team.

The agreement, signed at the Accountant General’s Department (AGD) in Banjul, forms part of a broader initiative to digitize revenue collection through the Commercial Banks Interface with the Payment Gateway Platform.
