At Kombo Veterinary Services (KVS), you will be warmly welcomed by our dedicated team. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced veterinarians and veterinary nurses in a dynamic veterinary clinic, where you can make a significant impact in the local animal care community.
During your time at KVS, you will engage in a wide range of activities related to animal healthcare. You may assist in animal examinations, participate in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, perform wound dressing, administer vaccinations, and even observe or assist in surgeries. Additionally, you will have the chance to contribute to the care of hospitalized animals, providing intensive care, feeding, and ensuring clean cages. Moreover, you will learn how to educate pet owners on nutrition, preventive healthcare, and general pet care.
KVS is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including two consultation rooms, a surgery room, digital X-ray and ultrasound machines, and offers services such as blood and fecal examinations, dental care, and grooming. As a volunteer, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in these services and have the opportunity to learn from our skilled professionals.
