Established in 1954, The Fajara club moved to its current location in 1971. The Fajara Club and Sir Dawda Jawara - Fajara Club Golf Course is the oldest members' social club in The Gambia. Being a member of The Club allows you and your family to use a wide choice of services and facilities such as 18 hole golf course, swimming pool, tennis, badminton, squash and volleyball course as well as many others.
The current membership for the new members is GMD15,000, and for existing members GMD12,000 per adult, and for children up to 16 years, as a part of a family, GMD1500 each.
Family Membership: 2 Adults plus 4 children is available at GMD25,000
Pool membership is GMD5000.
Spouse membership is GMD3000.
Admin Fees at joining GMD3000.

If you are a visitor of The Gambia and want to attend any of their activities or spend a whole day at The Club, ask for daily rates. All visitors need to be signed in.
For Golfers, The Fajara Club also has Daily and other Tariffs:

One Month Green Fees GMD8,000
Minimum Caddy Fees are as follows:
9 Holes - GMD250
10-18 Holes - GMD300
Brownsweepers are Mandatory for each golfing group
Minimum Fees
Up to 9 Holes - GMD150
Over 9 to 18 Holes - GMD200
Golfers may tip the Caddies or Brownsweepers as desired.
Golf Clubs/Balls/Regulation Mats/Trolleys are available for hire. Do enquire at the reception.
A single day 18 Hole round, including Caddy/Brownsweeper/Golf club/Mat/Trolley with balls, is available at GMD2000.
Golfers must wear an appropriate Collared Polo Shirt and Trousers/Shorts (No Denim jeans permitted).
Golf shoes or covered appropriate Sports shoes must be worn. Sandals are not permitted.
Golfers may use the 19th Hole Bar & Restaurant on the day. They may invite their caddy to join them in the clubhouse.
Tariffs are subject to change - kindly do always enquire about the current rates with the Caddy Master/Operations Manager or at the reception.
All Golfers should report to the ClubHouse reception first and have a valid receipt before playing a round. They may be asked for their receipt while playing.
