The restaurant at Balafon is called ‘Bantaba’, meaning ‘Meeting Place’ in the local Mandinka language.
With that in mind, it was positioned in the best spot at the resort, close to the swimming pools and next to the beach, making it the perfect place to eat and drink.
If you prefer just to relax and read a book or watch beach life go by, then the sun terrace at Bantaba is the ideal location.
