The Orange Library is a community space for all young adults in The Gambia. The library is situated in Kerr Serign but youth from very different neighbourhoods come to The Orange Library to study, paint, attend our Poetry evenings every last Wednesday of the month, help each other with their homework, attend our International Bookclub meetings, get expert Maths help, learn how to read, and much more.

We especially cater to what the youth wish to use the space for, we ask them what they want from The Orange Library and then listen to what they say. Whether that’s a photoshoot for The Face of The University of The Gambia, an interview practice for a new job, or just to have that time and space to be themselves, explore, and figure things out, without demands or having to perform for others.

We try our best to be there for our youth. And of course, you can borrow books, games, footballs, skipping ropes etc.
Membership is free for all young adults in The Gambia. For everyone else, the fee is 20€

Thursday - Saturday 11am - 6pm
