NOLA Art Cafe is a restaurant and cultural space bringing the black American Louisiana experience to The Gambia. Inspired by authentic Louisiana Creole cuisine, healthy soul food, New Orleans food culture, and Southern hospitality, the restaurant explores the deep culinary connection between West Africa and Louisiana.

The menu celebrates African ingredients that travelled across the diaspora, reintroducing flavours such as okra, rice, yams, peppers, and spices through a Louisiana-inspired lens. The concept is about bringing back the ingredients of Africa by honouring their origins while creating something new.

Food is complemented by jazz, blues, R&B, African and diasporan live music, alongside fine art and carefully selected African, Asian, and European antiques for purchase, with international shipping available.
