The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Estonia in The Gambia, led by Honorary Consul Charbel Hobeika, has been serving since February 2026 to strengthen relations between Estonia and The Gambia while supporting Estonia’s interests in the country.

The consulate works to promote cooperation across key sectors including trade, technology, tourism, education, sports, investment, and cultural exchange. Through his role, Mr. Hobeika helps foster stronger connections between the two nations, creating opportunities for collaboration and mutual growth.

Based in Bijilo, the Honorary Consulate serves as a bridge between Estonia and The Gambia, supporting diplomatic engagement, encouraging business partnerships, and strengthening people-to-people ties while advancing friendship and understanding between both countries.
