Established in 2017 and based in Bakau New Town, The Gambia, Flex Fuzion is a performing arts and cultural institute dedicated to entertainment, cultural preservation, youth empowerment and creative entrepreneurship. The academy offers traditional Gambian and West African dance, live drumming, contemporary performances, acrobatics, cabaret, Zumba, fitness classes and customised entertainment for weddings, hotels, festivals, corporate events and private functions.

Home to Afriq Divas, The Gambia’s pioneering all-female dance and percussion ensemble, Flex Fuzion also delivers immersive cultural experiences through traditional dance, music, storytelling and interactive workshops. Its training programmes nurture children and young people in dance, music, theatre, gymnastics, modelling and performing arts entrepreneurship.

Since its establishment, Flex Fuzion has trained over 1,000 young people, created opportunities for emerging artists and represented The Gambia at international festivals and competitions. Through its performances and educational programmes, the institute continues to promote Gambian culture while helping young creatives develop their talents into sustainable careers.
