Start of the tour

Day 1

Arrival in Banjul/Welcoming

Transfer to the hotel and introductory meeting. Money exchange and SIM card registration. Free morning to enjoy the beach or explore the local area.

Day 2

Boat Trip Oyester Creek

OPTIONAL RIVER GAMBIA CRUISE (Extra Charge)

  • Board a double-decker boat and cruise along the River Gambia
  • Discover the unique mangrove ecosystem and observe aerial roots rising from the water
  • Spot diverse bird species and wildlife in their natural habitat
  • Enjoy breakfast served on board while cruising
  • Stop at Lamin Lodge to learn about oyster harvesting and local fishing traditions
  • Try fishing from the deck with provided equipment
  • Relax and take in the peaceful surroundings before returning

City Tour

CITY & WILDLIFE EXPERIENCE

  • Visit the Crocodile Park, home to over 100 crocodiles in a sacred natural setting linked to local fertility rituals
  • Explore Banjul, one of the smallest capitals in the world, where colonial history meets vibrant daily life
  • Stop at Arch 22 for panoramic views over the city
  • Walk through Albert Market, experiencing a lively mix of colors, scents, and local trade
  • Visit Monkey Park to see red colobus and green monkeys up close and capture unforgettable moments

Day 4

Safari and Lionwalk

  • Early morning transfer to Banjul and ferry crossing to Barra
  • Continue by open safari vehicle to Fathala Wildlife Reserve

  • Unique lion walk experience for unforgettable close-up encounters
  • Return to The Gambia after the excursion
