- 2 fresh fish
- 3 tsp of lime
- a pinch of salt
- 2 onions
- 2 fresh tomatoes
- 1 small Maggi cube
- 1 big hot pepper
- one tablespoon of tomato paste (optional)
Remove the fish scales, wash and cut fish into portions. Season it with one tablespoon of lime juice and a pinch of salt. Peel, wash, chop and pound onion with pepper. Wash and chop tomatoes. Pound it with onion.
Add water to the cooking pot and heat it. Add the pounded mixture and allow to boil for some time.
Add the tomato paste (optional). Add the fish and let it boil until it’s cooked. Don’t let fish overcook since it will cause fish to fall apart. Serve it in a bowl and eat while hot.
