Through the lens: The holy forest, Makasutu

Makasutu is one of the Gambian jewels of nature and calmness. Mangroves surround the winding river, colourful birds add to the pleasant experience of the boat trip. Fortuneteller living deep in the forest, palm wine brought fresh from the palm tree, baboons strolling around the place; that is the heartbeat of the holy forest.

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 influence, Makasutu is currently not operating. Hopefully, it will soon be accepting visitors again.
