Miss Tourism Gambia is a beauty pageant organized annually to empower young women in public speaking and promote tourism and culture.

The fourth edition was held in February 2021. It was a night of glamour, talent and skill. The event consisted of a display of culture from the different ethnic groups in the country. Each beauty brings on stage the most unique of cultural outfits. It was followed by entertainment from Gambian musicians and comedians.

The audience also saw some display of recycled outfits from waste materials. This session gives a chance for women to use their skills and recycle waste product into new goods. The waste products used as clothes were plastic bags and cotton pads, face masks, leaves, plastic spoons, tissue papers and irons wash.

Miss Tourism of the year 2021 was crowned Ms Fatoumatta Drammeh.
